The mission

My Vision for this operation in the long term is to gather enough funding to be able to grow 3 acres of cut flowers and herbs in a no-till fashion in the most sustainable way humanly possible.

I envision myself on land that I have purchased and am living and operating this business on.

I see Queenz Cut Flower Farms as a facilitator for black and brown healers holding workshops and building communities with people who want to get more time in nature within a safe BIPOC space.

The business generated from the design work would be enough to support me and one other full time employee, someone who I would be able to provide a living wage to year- round.

I would also have one paid intern who I would provide housing and meals for. I would also be able to provide local flower shops with bulk orders which would at least cut some of the pollution involved with commercial growing and the globalization of the flower trade.

I would start an herb csa and also create products from the herbs I am growing and start an e-commerce business which would be a fail safe for the winter when the wedding season is done.

I see myself on this land with a plot that is 3 acres filled with flowers and herbs. I see a large barn with a design space and space to hold indoor workshops. I see a greenhouse, and high tunnels and I see my home and a collective safe space.
